Some History...
JenLore began as Gilded Peak Golden Retrievers in 1990, on six acres on the north end of Fort Collins I share with friend Douglas M. Brooks. Before I began breeding I co-owned a bitch with Crystal Glen, a kennel down the road with many champions to its credit. I had never seen the large, light magnificent heavily English-influenced show goldens and I was enthralled. I also researched the breed in-depth, learning about breed origins, the greats, and major influential American bloodlines, which were of course founded on English lines. I gladly shared my knowledge with other fledgling breeders.
Here is Gilded Peak/JenLore Don't Rush Amor aka "Tess", our last lovely bitch, w/ her two babies by BISS Knightwood Rocket Scientist, born Christmas night 2006.

In 1993 & '94 I purchased two stunning individuals-- a son of Am/Can Ch Golden Oaks Knock ‘Em Dead, out of a field-bench bred bitch, naming him Rachel’s Fanfare for Columbo, & Gold Rush Sevilla, by the infamous Am/Can CH Gold-Rush Riki Tiki Tavi. Fanfare began picking up points at the age of three, placing third in the Mile Hi Golden Retriever Club Specialty in 1996, Susan Burke handling. Sevilla went on to provide beautiful bitches by Fanfare to top regional breeding programs. Please type in Gold Rush Sevilla at http://www.k9data.com and use the links to view pedigrees of her get and grand-get. In a number of instances photos are uploaded to k9data or the URL's of particular kennels are posted. Here is the beautiful Einstein, sire of our last litter, going Best Veteran in Specialty Show under Collette Jaynes of Jazzin' Goldens.

"Stein" is forever more a teriffic example of the breed standard....
